We acquire businesses from owners who care what happens next.
We focus primarily on essential and service-based businesses throughout Georgia and the Southeast, within about 2 hours of Atlanta — with approximately $700,000–$1.5 million in EBITDA, strong reputations, experienced teams, and a history of serving their customers well.
We invest our own capital and intend to own businesses for the long term. We're not looking to acquire companies simply to cut costs and resell them. Our approach is to preserve what made the business successful, support the existing team, invest in systems and growth, and build on the foundation the seller created.
We're particularly interested in situations involving retirement, succession planning, or owners looking for the right partner for their company's next chapter.

Why sell to us.
We're entrepreneurs and investors, not a large private-equity fund. We understand what it takes to build a business, because we've done it ourselves. We take a long-term approach to ownership and care about preserving the employees, customer relationships, reputation, and legacy that took years to build. Sellers work directly with the people who will own the business — a straightforward, efficient, and confidential process.
We're not here to flip it.
We acquire businesses with the intention of building upon them for years to come, not cutting costs and reselling.
We've built companies ourselves.
Hands-on experience building teams, systems, and brands — not a finance background applied from a distance.
Structured around your needs.
We have access to our own capital as well as established lending and professional relationships.
Frequently asked questions.
What kinds of businesses do you buy?
Established, owner-operated essential and B2B service businesses with approximately $700K–$1.5M in EBITDA, located in Georgia and the Southeast, within about 2 hours of Atlanta. Areas of particular interest include commercial HVAC and refrigeration service, backflow and plumbing compliance testing, elevator and dock door service, commercial electrical, commercial locksmith and access control, kitchen exhaust cleaning, industrial scales and calibration, and automatic gates. If your business is a good service company that doesn't fit neatly in that list, we'd still like to hear from you.
How are you different from a private-equity firm?
We are two principals buying one business to own and run for the long term, not a fund with a set holding period and a planned resale. You work directly with the people who will own the company. Our goal is to keep the team, the name, and the customer relationships you built, and to invest in systems and growth from there.
Is a conversation with you confidential?
Yes. Every inquiry is handled personally by Chase and Matt and kept confidential. We're glad to sign a mutual NDA before you share any financial information, and we never contact employees, customers, or vendors without your permission. Please don't include sensitive financials in the website form.
What does the process and timeline look like?
It usually starts with an informal call to get to know each other. If there's a fit, we sign an NDA, review summary financials, and meet in person. From there we'd propose terms in a letter of intent, then complete diligence and financing before closing. Timing depends on the business and on financing (which may include an SBA 7(a) loan and, where it suits the seller, a seller note or transition role), but we move at a pace that works for you.
I'm a broker. What should I send you?
A teaser or CIM for any service business that fits the criteria above. We review every opportunity ourselves and will give you a clear, prompt answer, including a fast no if it isn't a fit. Email chase@fairwaycaplimited.com or matt@fairwaycaplimited.com, or call 704.577.9877.
